Why doesn't Acquisition Alternatives display "tombstones" like every other advisory or investment bank?
We believe that that a transaction closed is a time for celebration for the Buyer and the Seller. As entrepreneurs, we especially appreciate the celebration of the Sellers after years or even a lifetime of building a successful business. This it not the time for an intermediary to self-promote.
2. What is your average transaction size?
We have transactions as low as $1M and as large as over $100M. However, the average size is between $7M-$20M.
3. If the Buyer pays your fees, who represents the Seller?
First, regardless of who pays our fees each party will employ their own healthcare M&A attorney to complete the transaction. As for our advisory services prior to closing, we consider ourselves "deal guys" since a transaction will never get completed if the two sides do not come to an agreement. We don't get paid even a single $1 if the deal does not close.
